My parents have two trees in their front yard that don't drop their leaves until the first freeze, and then they drop them all in one day. The brown leaves are from a walnut tree and the green leaves are from a fruitless mulberry. I'm on the roof of their house to get the picture. It takes a full day to rake and bag them all.
These are the flowers in our front yard that bloom in late fall as everything else is starting to dry up and die. They will continue to bloom until we get a hard freeze.
Halloween - Even though the kids are little big to go Trick or Treating, they did get dressed up. Jessica went to work at Wingers like this and Sean just hung out with his friends, who all went for the same look as he did.
I looked out the window one morning and saw this cat sitting on our fence next to the house. I'm assuming he was warming up in the sun since the fall brings cold nights. I didn't seem to concern him as I took several shots.
