Between Christmas and New Years Kirk and his dad went ice fishing. They load their gear on sleds and drag it out on the lake with ATVs.
This is hard to read but it says that the exterior temperature is -17 degrees. That was the temperature when Kirk and his dad arrived at the lake to go ice fishing.

It took Kirk much longer but he finally caught a nice sized Rainbow.
The ice was about 14 inches thick. You can see the water freezing on the line above the hole in the ice. The little fishing pole in the bucket Kirk bought in Finland. It works great.
