This is Mt. Timpanogos shot from my home. We had a very hard winter and the snow was very deep and lasted well into the summer. For the past 9 years I've hiked to the summit seen at the top right (see my other galleries for actual hike photos). I was too busy to hike it this year.

On a warm summer day with only thin, thin clouds ice crystals reflected the sun light creating a rainbow halo around the sun. It only last for about 30 minutes. It was amazing.

Our back yard always looks great in the early summer as the flowers bloom and everything turns vibrant green.

For years we have always taken a family photo on Mothers Day. We usually have dinner at Alpine Country Club and then take the picture around the club house. Usually I have a tripod so I can get into the picture. L to R: Sean, Lisa, Jessica, Kristen, Logan.

My youngest sister, Danna started planning an annual Summer Solstice Party about 5 years ago. We do it in my parents back yard. Here we have been roasting hot dogs around the fire pit.

We were at a summer parade near our home. At the start of the parade military helicopters flew low over the parade route, then turned around to come back down the route just above the tree line. I shot this photo as one of the choppers turned to come back. The background of Mt. Timpanogos with snow, green growth and late afternoon shadows made for a great shot.

One of our neighbors forgot to set her park break. The car rolled out of the garage and off the driveway. I like the photo because of the warning sing at the right. It was indeed a big BUMP!

Our youth group had an opportunity to go to Martin's Cove in Wyoming and pull handcarts on the path the pioneers used when they came west. This event was several days with river crossings and a 16 mile trek on the last day. They slept every night on the ground under the stars. They all came home with a greater appreciation for the comforts of our time.
